Aram Sam Sam -A folk song

Hi there,
This song came originaly from Morocco, but, while visiting many countries, the words changed to the non sense language
This song has a pattern of movements that returns in every verse with a quicker  tempo
Young kids always think that faster is more! This song gives us the opportunity to count the number of  movements in every verse and see that it is the same but faster

Please take a couple of minutes to learn the simple movements before teaching your children

Learning about the cat 1

Watch the video together and make the movements

After that Ask your child:
How many times did the song return?-4 times
What was the difference between each time? It was faster
How many different types of movements did you see in each verse?tapping knees, hands under each cheek and rolling hands
Please watch the video again and count how many times you did the group of the 3 knees tapping in each verse?
You can ask your child to invent his own movements for this song
We tapped our knee in groups of 3,  8 times in each verse
Ask your child take a paper and a crayon: whenever the child hears the group of 3 Knee tapping, the child will draw one line.
At the end count how many times we tap our knees in this song ; 8 in each verse, double 4 verses=32 times
Do a family championship with this song, see how fast you can get and send us the video!!!
