What is an accented tone

Learning About The Accented tone

There are many accented tones in our environment!

Please listen to the following videos:
We  notice the breaking glass or the thunder sounds because they are different from the sounds that we heard before.

When a composer wants us to notice a few tones, he makes them different from their surrounding tones:

They can be longer or louder or even be played by different instruments and we call them accented tones
